Itinerary
Arrival in Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be picked up then transferred to the hotel in city center. The check-in is available at 2 pm. The day is free for your own exploration and shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Morning at 10AM, the first place to visit in the tour will be the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975 . After Reunification Palace, you can walk to see some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Central Post Office.
Afternoon, continue to visit War Remnants Museum where there is a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and sample a tasty “bot chien”, Pan – fried rice cakes with egg and spring onions which is cooked by a local chef with over 25 years experience and then quench your thirst with a sugar cane juice mixed with a little orange. Next up on your food adventure is Banh Mi – Saigon Baguette. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite. Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon special beer or soft drink, mineral water and homemade Vietnamese rice wine. Cap off your Saigon street food walking tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, longan ice cream or flan cake with caramel and coffee. Your local guide will take a taxi to go with you get back to your accommodation.
At 8AM, leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Drive to Hoi An for hotel check in. Overnight in Hoi An
In the morning, at 8AM, explore Hoi An ancient town, when visiting the Japanese Pagoda Bridge, Chinese streets, old Phung Hung houses, Hoi An’s market and ancient port. On the 1st and 15th of every lunar month, Hoi An’s ancient town is lit up by hundreds of colorful lanterns, giving it an extra portion of sparkle. Enjoy the city’s transformation and stroll through this quaint, glowing fairytale town in your free time.
Afternoon, drive along De Vong River to Cam An wharf.
Embark on the boat to Cua Dai sand dune, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast net by local fisher man. Continue to Cam Thanh Water coconut village, have a brief introduction to the history there.
Take on the basket boat along the water coconut river.
After that, depart for Thanh Ha Pottery Village by car where you can learn about and take part in the daily life of Thanh Ha people. Here, we will observe the necessary steps used for producing pottery products such as vases, pots and kettles.
Back to hotel. Overnight in Hoi An
In the morning at 7:30 am, our Tour Guide and Driver will pick you up at hotel lobby and then leaving Hoi An for My Son holy land and arriving at 8:30 am.
Spending 2 hours walking around My Son with our Tour Guide. Seeing the beauty of My Son in the morning. This is also the greatest time of the day to see the My Son without many tourists. We also enjoy the traditional Cham dance. They show local costumes and song with traditional instrumental accompaniment. Drive back to hotel
7:00 am : Our car and guide will meet you at your hotel in the Hoi An.
Pass over Hai Van Pass, named by Top Gears Jeremy Clarkson as “probably the greatest coastal roads in the world”. Stop at the Hai Van Quan, the highest point between Da Nang and Hue for a photograph opportunity. Besides that, experience the full view of the breathtaking Lang Co Bay. Then, you have an opportunity to see Lap An Lagoon – brackish water lagoon (picturesque scenery with mountain, white clouds reflected in water) in Hue.
Noon time: Arrive in Hue city and start to visit the Khai Dinh Tomb, constructed for the emperor in 1920 and constructed on the principle of Feng Shui. Being unique among the royal tombs in Hue, it is monumental in style and bombastic in execution.
12:30 pm: Take a break and enjoy a delicious local food (by your own)
1:00 pm: Visit the The Citadel, the last royal city in Vietnam that contains the imperial city. It is built by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. This citadel complex is remains Hue’s most popular and most important historic site.
2:30 pm: Discover the Thien Mu Pagoda (Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda), a Buddhist monastery which origins dating back to 1601. It is one of the oldest and holiest sites in Hue. This pagoda is also the unofficial symbol of the ancient city Hue. Finally, have a quick stop at incense village to understand more about local life.
4:00 pm: Get on a car along the Perfume River. Take in the peaceful scenery as you head back to Hoi An
You are free till transfer to the airport at 12:00 for flight to Hanoi. On arrival at 16:15, be picked up & transferred to hotel for check in. Overnight in Hanoi
You will be picked up at the hotel at 8:00am. Starting the day trip will be a visit of the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which compromises Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum (closed on Mondays & Fridays), his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh Museum. We will then visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius, which served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam. The site also honors 82 Vietnamese doctorates who passed a number of rigid exams in the feudal ages. Their names, birthdays and birthplaces are engraved in 82 headstones perched on stone tortoises. It is widely believed that touching the heads of these tortoises will bring luck. Its peaceful green compound with its neatly maintained lawns, gardens and lotus ponds make it a tranquil hideaway from the city’s bustle and heat.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, the alternative being the History Museum), which offers informative and well-documented displays of the country’s 54 ethnic groups, including elaborate and colorful hill tribe costumes. The display continues in the museum’s garden with fascinating examples of traditional houses of numerous minority groups, from the Kinhs to the ethnic groups of the Central Highlands. Then back to the Old Quarter for a walking tour. We then head to Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Ngoc Son Temple dates back to the 13th century, and the lake itself is the picturesque heart of Hanoi, frequented by tourists and locals alike. Overnight in Hanoi
After breakfast, we will drive to Tam Coc also known as « Dry Halong Bay». On the way, we will stop to visit Hoa Lu, which used to be Vietnam’s capital during the 10th century. Arrive at Tam Coc, where we will embark a small rowing boat to discover the outstanding karst waterscape on Ngo Dong River. Tam Coc literally translates to « three caves» and is adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of all sizes shaped like gemstones. When rowing, enjoy the peaceful scenery of rice paddies lining the river bank. After lunch we will visit Mua Cave, with 500 step up to the Top of Mua Mountain. On the Top, you can overview all the nice scene of Hoa Lu. Drive back to Hanoi for overnight
