Itinerary
Arrival in Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be picked up then transferred to the hotel in city center. Overnight at hotel.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours car driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

At 8AM, leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then, you embark a boat on Mekong river and go down stream, along Dragon Island to see daily activities on river as catching, raising fish on farm and conquer the 3 km large river by crossing.
Next, you get through the Xep canal to village, visit some fascinating local industries and stop in farmer house to enjoy some fruits, honey tea and listen to local music. Drive on paths by horse cart and change on small rowing boat to river.
Lunch in local restaurant by river, enjoying some local speciality as elephant ear fish and shrimp. Boat takes tour to coconut candy and taste some sweet. In the afternoon, time for cycling around the village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight
Morning, take flight from Saigon to Danang. On arrival, pick up & have a brief tour around Danang city
Take a drive south to Marble Mountain, a group of limestone and marble hills filled with caves. Travel to the top and gaze upon the city, seeing new high rise buildings standing alongside traditional wooden houses. Then explore the mountain’s main cave to see a beautiful Buddha statue built in the Cham style.
Next place is Son Tra Peninsula (known as Monkey mountain) – 10 kilometers to the north-east of Da Nang City and 693 meters above sea level. Son Tra Peninsula, with its sea-oriented appearance, serves as a giant screen protecting Da Nang from incoming storms and cyclones. There are still over 30 km² of natural forest, nearly 300 plant species, and hundreds of animal species, including rare animals. From the top of the mountain, you can see a panoramic view of Danang City, which is very interesting!
Arrive to Hoi An. Check in hotel for overnight
In the morning, explore Hoi An ancient town, when visiting the Japanese Pagoda Bridge, Chinese streets, old Phung Hung houses, Hoi An’s market and ancient port. On the 1st and 15th of every lunar month, Hoi An’s ancient town is lit up by hundreds of colorful lanterns, giving it an extra portion of sparkle. Enjoy the city’s transformation and stroll through this quaint, glowing fairytale town in your free time.
Afternoon, embark on the boat to Cua Dai sand dune, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast net by local fisher man. Continue to Cam Thanh Water coconut village, have a brief introduction to the history there.

Drive back to centre of Hoi An. Enjoy your time with the boat ride and release the flower lantern to pray for the lucks to you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street.
Overnight in Hoi An
Pick up from hotel
- We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Scout Café (98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, our meeting point.
- Visit Hoi An’s colourful main market, and experience its amazing sights, sounds and aromas. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers, to see and taste the wonderful variety of foods on display.
- We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
- On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s best-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef’s, before we prepare the same dish ourselves.
Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration).
After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked.
Back to hotel. The rest of the day is free by your own

We will start the day by driving out of Hoi An city and seeing beautiful sc enery including rice paddies and vegetable plantations. The trip includes a stop where you will enjoy Banh Dap (a local rice flour dish) being made and you can give it a go yourself! You will also see local weavers making straw mats, and ride on the back of Vespa along the bank of the river see fish farm and also amazing to see fish trap, and stop to see the people build fishing boat as well as crossing a traditional bridge built completely from bamboo. the bamboo boat you get chance to see vast offish farm. Your guides will give you information about some of the history and local traditions.
